Sugar
White, brown or even powdered sugar lasts for a long time especially if stored in an airtight container. Sugar doesn’t support bacterial growth, although you may have to soften it from time to time (with a marshmallow) as it tends to dry out easily.

Soy sauce can be used for 3 years even if the bottle has been opened. The shelf life of soy sauce varies based on its conditions – quality, storage temperature and how it was processed.
White Vinegar
Thanks to its high acidity, vinegar can last for a long time. But, it’s still best to store it properly in its original container and in a cool, dark place.

Most rice keeps for years as long as they’re stored at 4.5°C or below in glass jars or plastic containers for food. Research shows that you can store rice for 30 years and keep its aroma and nutritional value intact. However, brown rice can go rancid faster as it contains natural oils.
Maple Syrup
An unopened bottle of maple syrup can last forever while an opened one can be used for several years if you store it in the fridge.
Strong Alcohol
Alcoholic drinks such as cognac, rum, vodka and whiskey have no expiration date. Although it’s essential to keep them in a cool dark place.
