Here are ten of the most common eyeliner mistakes and how to fix, or avoid, them! Take a look if you want eyes that look professionally done!
Failing to blend your eyeliner. A makeup sponge is a great tool to gently smudge your liner, for a more natural look!
Pulling on your eyelid is one of the worst mistakes you can make, as it contributes to wrinkles and excess skin. Instead, apply your liner in quick dashes, and then go back and gently fill any gaps.
Using liquid liner on your bottom lash line. It hardly ever ends well, just don't attempt it!
Using a dried out liner. There is a simple solution to this, buy a new one!
Not reaching your waterlines. It's tricky to do, so try using a small blending brush to get to the delicate corners of your eyes!
Curling lashes with eyeliner on. This basically erases the liner, so you should always curl first.
Trying to freehand winged liner is not going to be easy. Instead, use clear tape to guide you!
Leaving a gap between your liner and lash line. Always apply as close to your lash line as possible, then gently lift your lashes upwards and fill any gaps from underneath. Perfect!
Lining your entire eye in black. Just. Don't. Do. It.
Forgetting to use an eyeliner primer. If you want perfect non-smudged eyeliner, that will last will last, make sure it's priority!
