    most likely this site runs on commissions, and percentages arent that big a deal until the coefficient is a much bigger number. For instance a 30% mark-up on 10 bucks is 13, who cares? 30% markup on 7k is 9.1k and 2100 is a big freakin jump. The site isnt absurd, just business is business and sometimes smarter decisions and exceptions should be made. By all parties.
