    As far as I know, its from Zenker, a German company(?), and I just ordered it on amazon, BUT I also saw it in a normal department store, where you can get the cake stuff.

    You slide the ring over the cake after it is baked and then slice it….:) Trouble with that though is that you would need the right cake baking pan to make it work right. My cakes never turn out the same way twice. It is cool though.

    yea but the gourmet goldmine doesnt come with the knife or lifter so it is just as expensive as you need the lifter and the knife it handy if you dont have a long knife to fit
