Paper art is recently gaining worldwide attention in the field of arts. From paper quilling to paper sculpture, these stunning paper artworks have taken paper craft to whole new level. By adding a contemporary twist to the traditional paper craft, modern paper artists are able to revive the craft with a bang. There are various paper artists who are specializing in crafting realistic paper sculptures. One of these artists is Tina Kraus, a freelance illustrator and paper engineer from Münster, Germany. Her recent paper artworks feature tiny 3D paper objects that are made of fine crepe paper.
She began working with crepe paper as her art medium two years ago. On her website, she categorized her crepe paper artworks as paper objects. Her subjects for her paper objects are mostly flowers and insects. Initially, she started making traditional flowers out of fine crepe paper. Then she decided to go for a more challenging creation by creating uncommon subjects such as the Venus flytrap and gecko. Her paper artworks are so realistic that it’s hard to believe that they’re made of paper. Take a look at her astounding collection of super-realistic paper objects
