We often hear people say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. So, why should it be any different for women? That said, we suggest skipping the fancy flowers for Valentine’s Day. Because if you come to think of it, well, yes, they’re romantic, but they’re just not edible. Hence, they’re quite impractical, if you ask us. So, instead of going for these passé V-Day gifts, why not go for something much, much sweeter, like a mini donut bouquet?
You can get one of these unconventional bouquets from Harry & David. In case you haven’t heard, they’re now owned by flower delivery giant, 1-800-Flowers.com. The bouquet consists of 10 decadent chocolate-covered cake donuts. It features a combination of donuts covered in pink-tinted white chocolate (1), regular white chocolate (2), dark chocolate (3), and milk chocolate (4). Each piece is beautifully decorated with drizzles and heart-shaped sprinkles on top.
This Valentine’s Day, ditch the flowers and go for a mini donut bouquet instead
The bouquet comes in a pink tissue paper with a gold ribbon and retails for $50. Quite frankly, it’s a bit pricey for a bunch of mini donuts. But, hey, at least you’ll get an express two-day shipping. Besides, it’s certainly a more convenient and wiser option than a DIY version. However, to avoid weekend transit, do note that Harry & David ships orders placed after 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET on Wednesdays the following Monday.
As early as now, we would like to remind you that this year’s Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday. So, you’ll have to place your order on or before Wednesday (February 12) at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. That way, your significant other will get to receive it just in time for the special day. To make your pink bouquet of donuts extra special, include a bottle of this pink shimmery cherry blossom gin too!
