Easter is just around the corner, so expect a lot of egg-citing treats coming your way! One of which is Iceland’s cheesecake inspired by Cadbury’s Creme Egg. We’ve seen these fondant-filled chocolates in the form of ice cream, a trifle, and a chocolate bar. But as a cake? Well, to be honest, we really didn’t see this one coming!
The Belgian Chocolate Easter Egg Cheesecake is marketed under Iceland’s Luxury range. As per the packaging, it features a “baked vanilla cheesecake on a digestive biscuit base.” On top, is a creamy mixture that consists of milk, as well as dark and white chocolate sauce.
This rich topping also comes in the form of a cracked egg, complete with dark chocolate strands on the side. We don’t know about you, but this is certainly our definition of the ultimate Easter cake.

Each box contains 390 grams and is good for six persons. However, if you’re not willing to share this cheesecake goodness with others, then individual consumption is always an option. After all, it will only set you back £3. Hmm, sounds like a great idea for a daily dessert.

The only downside to this creme egg cheesecake is it’s a limited-edition offering. So, it literally won’t be around forever. Luckily, several Instagram foodies have already spotted the decadent treat in the frozen food section of their local Iceland stores. So, there’s a high chance for you to find one in your nearest branch too. You may check out the supermarket’s website for the full list of their shops.
