We can all probably agree that this year isn’t the best year… But our favorite snack brands are definitely doing the best they can to keep us happy! Pillsbury, for one, has released a cookie dough we can eat raw. And, now cookie monsters, meet the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookie Dough! We’re pretty sure none of it will actually make it on your baking pan, let alone the oven!
Sneaking a spoonful of raw cookie dough is a universal guilty pleasure. There’s no denying it. Raw cookie cookie dough is just so good that we’re willing to put our health for a taste! But the days of worrying about getting salmonella and other nasty things form raw cookie dough are over thanks to the emergence of safe-to-consume cookie dough. It’s literally a monument of the food industry’s progress! And now even Pillsbury’s joined the game.

Pillsbury’s new Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookie Dough is good no matter how you want to eat it
Some of you may recall that Pillsbury has doled out some goodies with Reese’s Peanut Butter before. But trust us when we say that this brand new offering is not the same. The packaging of the new Reese’s cookie dough is not too different from its initial counterpart. However, the bright blue badge that declares it to be safe to eat raw makes all the difference.
Each 160z pack still contains enough raw cookie dough to make 24 cookies. But the challenge of it now is… will you actually manage to put in the oven, now that you can eat it raw? The brand has yet to officially introduce the cookie dough, but Instagram account @candyhunting has already reported that it can already be found at Hy-Vee. We can most likely expect to spot the safe-to-consume-raw Reese’s cookie dough at leading retailers in the coming days.
Be sure to pay attention to the label as there is a variety that isn’t safe to consume unbaked
