With everything that’s happening in the world right now, it’s just inevitable for us to reminisce about the good old days. Luckily, it seems like our favorite snack brands are on the same page with us. And that’s why they’ve been spoiling us with major throwback treats like Totino’s Ham and Cheese Pizza Rolls and Dunkaroos. Now, another 90’s favorite is treating us to not just one but two refreshing summer sips. SunnyD is bringing back its limited-edition Lemonade and Watermelon flavors to help us beat the summer heat.
The fruit juice brand has been in the industry for quite a while now. However, there’s no doubt that it’s still most popular for its orange-flavored drinks. In fact, it was only in the summer of 2019 when they introduced the Lemonade and Watermelon flavors. Apparently, the two seasonal flavors were a big hit, especially for ’90s kids and fruit juice lovers alike. So, it was imperative for the brand to re-release it for the second time around.
“Last year’s smash hit performance made it a no-brainer to bring back these made-for-summer, 100% fun limited-time flavors.”—Jim Gerbo, chief marketing officer of Harvest Hill Beverage Company

The two flavors are actually quite self-explanatory. Of course, you could expect to get a tart, citrusy punch with Lemonade, and a refreshing kick with Watermelon. These two bold flavors come in bright colors, making them an ultimate summer must-have. The seasonal flavors are available in 6.75-ounce bottles as well as in 64-ounce carafes. You can find them at various grocery stores nationwide including ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Save-A-Lot and Tops.

Now, are we the only ones thinking that adding a boozy kick to these summer sips is a great idea? After all, we, the 90’s babies, are officially adults now. So, a fun cocktail might just be what we need to get through these adulting struggles.
