Nothing beats the goodness of freshly baked crescent rolls. However, let’s admit it—baking them from scratch is always out of the question. That’s why the new Pillsbury Filled Crescents are literally a life-saver. Aside from making it easier to satisfy our cravings, they also take the classic puff pastry a notch higher with fruit filling and icing.
These new fill-and-bake treats come in a kit that contains everything you’ll need for your fruity little pockets. This includes a can of crescent dough, a packet of fruit filling and a packet of icing. Each kit contains enough dough to make eight crescent rolls, so there’s plenty for everyone to share. They also come in cherry and apple flavors, making them a great alternative to your favorite fruit pie. And the best part? They’re ready to bake in just five minutes!
Indulge in the goodness and sweetness of fruit pie fillings with the new Pillsbury Filled Crescents
Simply unroll the dough and separate at the perforations to create eight triangles. Afterward, fill the wide ends of each triangle with fruit filling, while leaving a half-inch gap from the edge. Then, roll up each of the stuffed dough, starting from the wide end all the way to the tip. Slightly curve the rolls to form a crescent shape then place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake them at 375° Fahrenheit for 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Finally, drizzle the rolls with icing and enjoy!
It’s that easy, no measuring or extra ingredients required! So, you can prepare them any time of the day or literally whenever a craving hits. Plus, it’s certainly a fun kitchen activity that you can do with the kids. You can serve the rolls as a quick snack on a lazy afternoon or even as a decadent dessert for a weekend brunch. But, of course, there’s no rule saying you can’t have them for breakfast as well.
