Given our current situation, there’s no doubt that Halloween will be a little different this year. In fact, the CDC has already advised against participating in traditional trick-or-treat activities and attending crowded costume parties. Nevertheless, this doesn’t mean that we have to skip the spooky celebration altogether. For starters, you can still enjoy an intimate, indoor costume party with the members of your household. And if you have pets at home, these cute cat Halloween costumes just might inspire you to dress them up for the occasion!
Most cats are infamous for their indifference and aloofness, especially towards people. More often than not, they’re also notorious for defying their humans’ commands. So, it goes without saying that dressing them up can be particularly challenging too. However, if your fur babies are as obedient as Eric and Ollie, then getting them Halloween-ready shouldn’t be a problem.
Cat Halloween costumes
Persian cats Eric and Ollie have recently taken the internet by storm with their cute Halloween costumes as package delivery guys
In a video uploaded on Instagram, these two Persian cats have been captured donning delivery guy costumes. Eric, a chinchilla silver Persian, sports a USPS mail carrier uniform, while Ollie, an exotic shorthair, flaunts a UPS driver uniform. Of course, their outfits wouldn’t be complete without caps that match their respective uniforms.

Both ensembles feature a pair of fake arms holding a miniature package sewn in front. So, this creates the illusion that the felines are each holding a package and standing with two feet. But what make their getups even more adorable and hilarious at the same time are their deadpan expressions. Their innate grumpy faces make them look as though they’re totally unhappy with what their human has put them through.
So, their owners quickly clarified in a comment that the costumes were in a size bigger to make the cats comfortable. Moreover, they revealed that they constantly provided the felines with treats during the recording, which only lasted for one minute. So, rest assured that no cats were harmed in the filming of the video and that it wasn’t against their will.
In fact, this isn’t the first time that Eric and Ollie have glammed up for an occasion. Last Halloween, Eric dressed up as a ghost, clad in paper towel. Meanwhile, for Christmas 2019, Eric was Santa Claus, while Ollie was a Christmas elf. Apparently, these two don’t mind sporting cute costumes at all.
