Set your taste buds on fire with the new Pringles Scorchin’ collection. You already know you’re in for a seriously spicy treat when you see the words Flamin’ Hot or Scorchin’ on it. Well, Pringles are mostly known for its savory, salty, and cheesy flavors. But the potato chip brand also has its spicy flavors such as the Hot & Spicy Chips and the Extra Hot Chili & Lime.
Despite these fiery offerings, people just can’t stop wondering how would their favorite Pringles flavors would taste if they have some spicy kick to them. Of course, the popular snack brand can’t possibly deny its fans’ wishes. And it is for this reason that they spiced up three of its classic flavors. The Pringles Scorchin’ collection takes the flavors of the original Cheddar, BBQ, and Chili & Lime. And combines them with a blazing peppery kick to set your taste buds ablaze.

The Pringles Scorchin’ Cheddar brings an extra spicy sensation to the cheesy potato chips that we know and love. Smoky and spicy, that’s how we describe the taste of the Pringles Scorchin’ BBQ featuring a perfect balance of savory-sweet BBQ and flaming hot cayenne pepper. The Pringles Scorchin’ Chili & Lime takes the spicy level of the original tangy-citrusy flavor a notch higher.
“We’ve launched spicy flavors in the past, but Pringles Scorchin’ is our first dedicated collection,” Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles, said in a press release. “As we created this collection, we knew spice was important, but we also wanted to preserve the insanely accurate flavors our fans have come to expect from our products. I’m proud to say, we have succeeded on both fronts to offer the perfect balance of bold flavor and spicy heat that builds over time.”

The new spicy lineup will be available through a limited release starting December 2020 in stores nationwide. Each flavor comes in a 5.5-oz can featuring the mustachioed Julius Pringle with smoke comically coming out of his ears. That alone tells you how ‘hot’ these flavors would be. But just in case you happen to miss out on the limited release, don’t fret because the lineup will go in full release in 2021, including the grab-and-go size.
