Stumped with your holiday decorating? Have no fear – you aren’t alone. We all know the feeling. The idea of decking the halls is definitely exciting! But most of the time, that excitement fizzles away when we finally start brainstorming for our décor theme of the year. So if you’re currently scouting for inspiration, let these creative Christmas trees ignite your festive creativity!
On December 2nd, the Rockefeller Christmas tree – a 75-foot Norway Spruce wrapped in five miles of lights and topped with a Swarovski star – lit up, signifying the start of the holiday season in New York City. You probably didn’t miss it – it was televised and shared all over social media networks, after all. And it probably made you look at your tree and think, “What else can I do to make my tree look extra festive this year?”. After all, there’s no better way to welcome the happy holiday mood than with a beautiful Christmas tree!
These creative Christmas trees will make your home extra sparkly this holiday season
Before becoming a prominent fixture in our homes during the holidays, Christmas trees were predominantly part of the German holiday tradition. The concept wasn’t introduced to the United States until the mid-19th century and has since become a part of the holidays we all look forward to, aside from the presents and family get-togethers! And we’ve only gotten more and more creative with how we decorate our trees for sure!
There’s about a hundred different ways to dress up your tree. But adorning it with sparkly, metallic baubles and ribbons will never go out of style. Their frosted color and shimmer literally screams ‘winter holidays’, so what’s not to love? Check out some of the metallic Christmas trees we think you’ll love below:

These Christmas trees have 2020-related décor on them
There’s no denying that this year’s holiday season is unique. And some families have apparently decided to incorporate this year’s most popular essentials into their tree. We’re beginning to see Christmas trees with medical masks, gloves and anti-bacterial wipes. Some even went ahead and built a tree by piling rolls of toilet paper! (But if you don’t really want to waste your protective gear or pile toilet paper rolls then you can just add a 2020-themed Christmas tree ornament instead.)

And others have chosen to forego the traditional tree entirely
Now we can’t talk about Christmas trees without featuring some truly unique and unconventional ones! These inventive trees are made out of the most unexpected materials: different sizes of bike wheels, rubber tires, hundreds of books and even balloons! Others have also made their trees by cleverly manipulating the length of their light’s cables. So if you’re looking to change things up this year, check out the unconventionally creative Christmas trees we’ve found below:
