Would you say that you were 'beautiful' or merely 'average'? Women around the world were confronted with this choice when the skincare company Dove played an interesting social experiment. In the campaign, women at stations in Shanghai, London, San Francisco, Sao Paulo and Delhi were given the choice of entering via 'Beautiful' door or an 'Average' door. The experiment was designed to challenge women to decide to be beautiful. According to the company's survey 96% of women wouldn't call themselves beautiful, although 80% would use that word to describe something about themselves.
