Cats rule the internet. Everyone knows that. And no-kill animal shelter 'Homeward Bound', in Illinois, is attempting to capitalize on that fact. The shelter's novel way to help find abandoned kitties new, loving homes? Sending cats to yoga class and taking photographs of the unusual session! What with all their stretching and blissful purring, felines do kinda resemble yogis, so why not? Six cats were sent along to Illinois studio, Yoga at Connies. There, they mingled with the class participants, and got involved, with one cat, Breezy, finding a nice warm spot on a mat underneath yogi Emily Cook, forcing her to hold her pose until Breezy decided it was time to move on! By the end of the session, one cat had even found a new permanent home. Hopefully, the publication of these gorgeous photographs will help spur adoptions for Homeward Bound. Check it out!
