James Doran-Webb’s driftwood sculptures show that awesome creations can be made from what most people would see as garbage. The sculptor has created many majestic pieces such as the horses below, however it is his incredible dragon sculptures which are creating a buzz at the moment. ‘Wyvern’s Folly’ shows a dragon on top of a gazebo constructed from old water bottles and recycled steel.
‘The Wyvern in the Baobabs’ is perched menacingly upon a dead tree, and the presence of both pieces is astonishingly intense. (A Wyvern is a dragon with two wings and two legs).Take a look at some of his works below and enjoy.
