Bethany Robinson is a collector, jewelry maker and artist. She collects seedpods, insects and skulls from throughout the countryside of Cornwall, England and uses them to create spectacularly unusual pieces. She creates jewelry from what many would perhaps find strange and macabre… casting molds from bird skulls, feet and even the pelvis of a mouse! The way in which she casts, using wax injection and lost wax investment, allows her to replicate all the incredible detail within the original bones. The process is very long and laborious but the end results are amazing!
