Artist Kunel Gaur has chosen a most unusual canvas for his latest work….the inside of a taxi cab! His artwork, entitled "A Century Of Revolt" is in fact part of a wider project called "Taxi Fabric", which has seen the inside of Mumbai taxi cabs transformed into creative art spaces by a range of talented artists and designers. Gaur told 'BoredPanda' his Sistine Chapel-like work was inspired by the notion of Indian independence. It depicts freedom fighters floating hand-in-hand in an utopian scene of a free India. The driver of the cab concerned, Mohammed Sattar told 'BoredPanda' he was proud to be driving the artistic taxi. "It is a symbol to remember all those who gave their lives for our independence…I think it is important that their memory is kept alive." Take a look!
