This awesome mural which commemorates the district of Srodka is to be formally unveiled in Poznan, Poland at the beginning of October 2015. It took a full three years to get the funding in place to begin the project which is located close to St. Margaret Cathedral. The mural is to be a celebration of the neighborhood which was given its 'city rights' way back in 1231. The district became part of Poznan in 1800 and was named after the word 'sroda' which translates as Wednesday… the day on which a market used to be held in the area. Take a look!
