Here’s a unique piece of architecture that may remind you of the biblical story of Moses crossing the Red Sea. People are in fact calling it ‘The Moses Bridge’ and it is a sunken bridge in Halsteren, Netherlands. It has been built low down in the water, so low that you cannot even see it from a distance. It really is invisible!
The bridge has been built within a moat to allow people to cross the water and get to Fort de Roovere, a fort which was built in the 17th century for protection against invasion from France and Spain. The masterminds behind this creation are architects Ro Koster and Ad Kil.
