Brazilian artist Herbert Baglione enjoys pushing his street art as far as it can go. During a visit to an abandoned psychiatric hospital in Parma, Italy, he decided to paint its walls with ghostly shadows which he felt related to the ex-patients of the place. As part of his 1000 Shadows project where Baglione has painted similar figures in different places around the world, his images are powerful and even make the viewer uncomfortable wondering about the unhappy souls who once lived within the hospital walls.
