He ordered an Amazon package birthday cake for his wife!
“When you order a lot from Amazon… you get an Amazon box birthday cake!”
Emily McGuire is a photographer. And, just recently, she shared photos of her husband’s birthday surprise for her — it was an Amazon package birthday cake!
Her husband Mac was able to come up with such a brilliant idea by noticing the little details about his wife. He observed that she loves online shopping so much.
Mac and Emily have been together for 19 years now. And, they are happily married for 12 years. It wasn’t typical for Mac to go out-of-this-world with surprises, but he said:
“This one is one to remember for sure.”
When she first saw the birthday cake, she thought it was really an actual box from Amazon.
“At first I thought it was a box, then when I realized it wasn’t I laughed so hard. I really felt like he finally gets me!”
Thanks to Sweet Dreams Bakery of Dunn — what came out was a realistic cake. Yes, it was donned with all the authentic-looking tapes for packaging and shipping! The cake cost around $50. Appreciative of the ingenious gift, Emily came to meet the baker that made Mac’s idea come to reality!
Obviously, Emily was so impressed with the cake! She shared it online with full enthusiasm. Telling about the positive consequences of getting the cake, Emily says:
“Now it’s a running joke in our house about how many packages we receive in the mail.”
Apparently, she wasn’t the only one who loved the cake a lot. The photos immediately went viral in the Internet world! People generously praised the thoughtfulness and creativity of her husband.
