Just seconds old, this tiny baby panther chameleon (more officially known as Furcifer pardalis), doesn't yet realize it has been born. The photographs below give us a unique insight into how a chameleon looks whilst still inside the egg. 'Canvas Chameleon' is a pet shop and chameleon breeding center in Pennsylvania and that's where this little guy hatched. But, according to the shop owners, he had to be helped out of his egg, as he didn't "pip" properly. "Pipping" is the name given to the process by which reptiles and birds use their "egg teeth" to break out of their shells. Luckily, this adorable wee guy is now doing well, alongside his brothers and sisters. Check it out!
