Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. So, Emma Plummer, a self-taught baker, thought of making heart-shaped macarons in anticipation of the special day. However, her baked goodies turned out to be more fit for a bachelorette party as they came out looking like ballsack cookies. To her surprise, her misshaped macarons have instantly gone viral, and people are, nonetheless, still loving them.
Instead of sulking over her fail cookies, the 23-year-old home baker took to Twitter to share some photos of her rather hilarious creations. But to clear things up, Plummer is a legit French macaron maker. In fact, she even runs a business Instagram page. Apparently, things didn’t go as planned with her supposedly heart-shaped macaroons.

Essentially, macaroons are not easy to make, and even Plummer knew this for a fact. However, she didn’t expect that shaping them into hearts would be even more challenging.
“I had my batter and I was following the template, but I didn’t really know what I was doing. I was like, ‘Wow, these are not looking that great.'”
Even so, she popped them into the oven, and that’s when things got worse. According to her, the cookies “were very pink” before she baked them. But for some reason, they eventually darkened and turned into a fleshy color. So, Plummer ended up having a bunch of cute little testicles instead.
“I laughed hysterically and I sent them to our family group chat and everybody was dying over them. I hate to say it, but I almost think these are better than the heart shapes they were meant to be.”

It turns out that the online community is on the same page as Plummer. Her tweet quickly went viral, garnering over 45k retweets and 191k likes, as of writing. She also shared a photo of her wonky cookies on her business Instagram story. To her surprise, many people showed interest in ordering her sackarons—punny name courtesy of Twitter user @MeaghanQuinnn.

“I have a lot of people that said they wished they had them for their husbands’ vasectomies!”
Well, this goes to show that not all kitchen fails are terrible. As for this macaron master, it opened a new opportunity for her. In fact, she’s planning to officially offer her ballsack cookies soon to her customers. You may check out her Instagram page to find out more about her baked goodies.
