Stefano Boeri is an Italian architect who loves trees and manages to incorporate them into his buildings in an amazing way. Right now, he’s set to build a 117m (384ft) apartment tower in Lausanne, Switzerland. It’s going to be the first building in the world to be built covered in evergreen trees. The 36 story tower, called ‘La Tour des Cedres’ meaning ‘The Tower Of Cedars’ will feature over 100 trees, 6000 shrubs, and 18,000 plants. These will be spread over about 3,000 square meters of green space. The greenery will not only look pretty, but protect residents from winds, dust and noise pollution. Awesome! Take a look!
