The possibilities are endless and so is the fun with the Nomad Tub.
How Does the Hot Tub Work?
The most unique feature of the Nomad Tub is that it has detachable components. Hence, you can separate the parts, fold down the tub and store or transport it easily. The tub is made entirely with vinyl, from its walls down to its floor. The collapsible tub comes with a heater coil that can be heated with propane or firewood. If you intend to use it in your backyard, simply fill the tub with water using a garden hose. When out in the wild, we recommend using a portable water pump to pull water from a lake or river and fill up the tub. The water pump can also drain the water out from the tub and you could even put the water back into the lake when you’re done.
The included heater coil is made from stainless steel. It uses thermosyphoning that circulates the water to and fro the tub. Thus, it guarantees consistent water temperature without the need of a water pump to circulate the water. The coil comes with a propane burner but it does not include a propane regulator and a propane tank. So, you’ll have to buy these components separately.
Additionally, the coil also comes with 3 removable hairpin legs to suspend the coil above the ground. And a universal through wall adapter kit included with it. It typically takes the heater coil 2 – 2.5 hours to heat the water to up to 105 degrees F in an air temperature of 60 degrees F. For air temperatures lower than 60 degrees F, allow the coil to heat the water for 3.5 hours.
When fully assembled, the collapsible camping hot tub measures 60 inches in diameter and 24 inches tall. You can get this portable tub here and choose your preferred color – yellow, black, or red.
