A quadriplegic controlling a drone, with just thumb and shoulder movements, is responsible for some of the most incredible whale footage we've ever seen. Jaimen Hudson was flying the DIJ Phantom 3 drone near Esperance in Australia when he heard there were whales at the beach. He flew the drone in for a closer look. Meanwhile, paddle boarder David Price was doing the same, although his 'closer look' was potentially far more dangerous as he paddled close to the two mammoth sea creatures. It must be said that the whales in the footage below appear more bemused than anything else as they check out the tiny human in their midst. Take a look, it's incredible!
