When Farah Rahman discovered this series of 9 photographs, it made her ask the question 'Are we afraid to lose moments in our lives?' These once-treasured memories have become eroded and virtually unidentifiable over time and there is a terrible sadness which speaks through this photo series as a result. The once perfect images which have been found and edited by Rahman are now being destroyed by dust and mold. No one seems to care about them anymore. Rahman says of the photos,
"The aim of this series is to create tension between remembering and forgetting, to raise questions about our own memory and why people save images. Are we afraid to lose moments in our lives? And if we lose this, does this mean we lose a piece of ourselves? Are images proof of our existence in this digital era?"
