We all love a good and reliable piece of furniture that serves multiple purposes. For instance, this couch with a built-in dog bed and this picture frame that turns into a table. Indeed, multipurpose furniture pieces are not only incredible space-savers but offer great value for our money as well. This time, we’ve spotted another clever piece that will certainly come in handy in our current work-from-home setups. The FLOP multi functional armchair transforms into a bed and even comes with storage for your mattress, pillows and more.
Designed by Russian artist Elena Sidorova, the FLOP folds out to reveal a cozy single bed. It features a frame made entirely of veneer and plush upholstery made of 100% sheep wool material. It instantly transforms into a bed with just a pull of a tab. As you lay the couch flat, it reveals a space for storing your mattress, pillows, blanket and other bedtime essentials. The top of the bed also consists of elastic bands to make the bed extra bouncy and comfy.

Indeed, the FLOP is perfect for both home and office use. Aside from using it as a napping spot at home, you may also use it to accommodate guests who are staying the night. Likewise, it’s a great way to keep employees well-rested in the office, especially those working overtime.
Unfortunately, the product is not yet available for purchase, as Sidorova is still looking for manufacturers to help her with production. Nevertheless, you can still try your luck by sending her a price quote request through the Archello website.
In the meantime, you can check out her website to see more of her work and to learn more about the design services that she offers.
