Have you ever found yourself unable to choose between chocolate and brownies? Fret no more, because by April 2020, you won’t have to choose between chocolate and brownies anymore! The Fudge Brownie M&M’s are coming and it’s absolutely oozing with chocolate-y goodness. We have the newcomer Instagram blogger, @junkfoodleaks_ to thank for the heads-up about this sweet treat. The account claims that they “have the privilege of sourcing new and unreleased samples of junk before they become available to the general public”. The Instagram blog’s first-ever post sure caused quite a stir among the chocoholic crowd on July 31st.

M&M’s now has made two announcements about it
Fans of the hard-shelled chocolate candy are definitely in for a treat. Especially those of us who wish M&M’s would make their candies a wee bit bigger. Because according to the initial report, the Fudge Brownie M&M’s are larger in size, kind of like the peanut M&M’s, but this time it’s all chocolate. (I’m jumping with joy!)
When you finally pop the Fudge Brownie M&M’s in your mouth, let it sit in your mouth for a bit. This will allow the “gooey texture of a warm brownie” come through from the candy shell. And once you swallow, you’ll get a hint of brownie aftertaste that makes you think like you just licked a brownie batter in your very own kitchen. This is a small cause for concern for those who like to eat M&M’s by the handful and for those who enjoy crunching the candy shell.

The Fudge Brownie M&M’s aren’t your average M&M’s
Thanks to the Instragammer, we were also able to see that despite the colorful candy mix printed on the Fudge Brownie M&M’s bag, it actually only contains orange-colored candies. Which, is confusing. Perhaps the candy company hasn’t quite decided on the color(s) of this special new treat yet. Guess we’ll to wait and see in April 2020!
We’re hoping that these brownie-flavored M&M’s will stay for a long time, since we can’t spy “Limited Edition” anywhere in the resealable, “sharing” pack. April 2020 may seem like a lifetime away, but we’ve got to be practice some patience. Good things take time, after all. Trail mixes and brownie batches are about to get super interesting next year!
