Darius Sasnauskas is an outdoors enthusiast originally from Lithuania, but now lives near the 'Yellowstone National Park' in America. Recently, he saw two beautiful baby deer being born in his backyard and noticed that one was suffering from an injured leg. While keeping an eye on the little fawn, he saw that her family had eventually left her behind, as she just couldn't keep up with them. It was then that Darius made the decision to take her in and nurse her back to health. The little deer fitted right in with Darius and his animals and flatly refused to leave them when she was set free. However, one evening she returned to her real family and has been happy and healthy ever since! Take a look!

The baby deer with their mom.
One of the little fawns just couldn't keep up with the rest of her family.
She needed to be strong to survive the threat from the natural predators in the area!
Darius took the baby in and created a DIY leg brace from an old cereal box!
The dog helped look after the little deer and even guarded her when she was sleeping!
Soon the deer's leg was strong enough for her to learn to walk again.
She was very grateful to Darius for helping her!
Every time he tried to release her back into the wild, she refused to leave him!
The deer finally reunited with her family and was so happy!
