To de-stress between classes, many Japanese students enjoy chalking their own works of art on school chalkboards. Creating what are sometimes incredibly spectacular artworks. The trend is currently so big that Nichigaku, the Japanese chalkboard manufacturer, recently held a chalkboard art competition to find the best works in the country.
The competition attracted 50 submissions and as you will see below, the standard of submissions was incredibly high with the lucky winner receiving a 100,000 yen (around $812) gift card, not bad!
