Have you ever wondered what it’s like living in the wild with animals? If so, then you might fancy an overnight stay at the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort. This resort in Thailand features unconventional rooms called Jungle Bubbles. These transparent bubble suites offer guests a cozy space as they observe elephants going about their daily lives.
The resort houses two bubble rooms that sit on elevated wooden decks. Custom designed by Eye In The Sky, these bubble suites are made of see-through high-tech polyester fabric. As such, they offer stunning and uninterrupted views of the gentle giants outside and the starlit night sky above.
Both rooms are fully air-conditioned and feature a 235-square-foot space inside. Each room comes with a living space and a bedroom, complete with a seating area and a king-size bed. There’s also an enclosed en-suite bathroom inside, furnished with exquisite amenities.

The resort also features a 160-acre Elephant Camp where guests can interact with elephants up close in their natural habitat. Rescued from the streets of Thailand, 22 elephants now reside at the resort, together with their trainers or mahouts. The resort works in collaboration with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation to continuously provide support to them.
During the country’s annual National Elephant Day, the resort invites students to educate them more about elephants and their behavior. The tour showcases these gentle giants’ way of life as well as the resort’s efforts in caring for them. Through integrating elephant encounters in their offerings, the resort hopes to encourage the public to engage with elephants in a non-invasive way.
Guests may opt to purchase the bubble experience as an optional overnight activity in addition to their hotel accommodation. Rate starts at THB 17,700 (around 570 USD) per night for two people. This includes 24-hour in-room dining service as well as access to dinner basket, minibar and tea and coffee making facilities.
Likewise, the resort offers various sponsorship packages for the elephants. You may visit their website to learn more about their offerings and to support their cause.
