Is it Halloween already? We’re asking that because Hershey’s just dropped its line of Halloween-themed treats which includes the return of the Kit Kat Pumpkin Pie. If you can still recall, this beloved fall-inspired flavor debuted in 2017 but they were exclusively available in selected stores. They returned to the shelves in 2019 and were available nationwide. Of course, no Halloween is complete without pumpkins so we’ll be seeing these goodies on the shelves again this year.
Only this time, the Pumpkin Pie flavor will be arriving way ahead of October. And just like last year, this limited-edition flavor will also be available in stores nationwide. While it’s true that these Halloween candies are coming in too early, we’re not complaining. Actually, we don’t mind celebrating the spooky season in July.

The Pumpkin Pie flavor features the classic wafer coated in pumpkin pie-flavored crème, which explains the orange color. Apparently, the only difference between the 2019 and 2020 versions is the packaging. This year’s version features orange-colored packaging with pumpkins, acorns, flowers and autumn leaves in the background. The candy bars are wrapped individually and they come in a 9.7 oz pack. Plus, the miniature sizes make it perfect for sharing.
While Hershey’s is making it seem that it wants us to have Halloween in July, we also believe that spooky season should be celebrated every day of the year. The Pumpkin Pie flavor has been spotted in stores already. So, you might want to stock up on these and reserve some packs for your trick-or-treat bowl come October. In addition to this flavor, Hershey’s also released a new Halloween-themed flavor – the Kit Kat Witch’s Brew. This brand new flavor features a marshmallow-flavored cream which is also a first. So, keep your eyes peeled for these fall-inspired flavors in the candy aisle.
