Everyone loves birthday parties. Party poppers, colorful balloons, yummy finger foods, and exciting games. Who wouldn’t enjoy a fun-filled birthday celebration? Of course, what’s a birthday party without a birthday cake, right? A birthday cake doesn’t only grace the party table. Traditionally, a cake serves as an essential vessel in conveying our wishes to the Gods as we blow the candle. This year, Krispy Kreme would make our wishes come true. As the doughnut company celebrates its 82nd birthday this year, it unveils its own version of birthday cake in the form of (obviously) doughnuts. Krispy Kreme introduces the Original Filled Birthday Batter Doughnut, and it’s a Happy Birthday indeed.
Last month, the doughnut chain released its original glazed doughnuts filled with Classic Kreme and Chocolate Kreme. For the first time, Krispy Kreme’s iconic glazed doughnuts have been stuffed with a filling. And to highlight the company’s 82nd birthday this year, it launches the Original Filled Birthday Batter Doughnut. As the name suggests, this new flavor is stuffed with creamy birthday cake batter. Furthermore, these filled glazed doughnuts are topped with strawberry icing and finished with party sprinkles. We know, we’re drooling too. However, take note that the Original Filled Birthday Batter Doughnut is only available from July 15 to July 21.

Every year on its birthday, Krispy Kreme treats its fans with the $1 dozen deal. So, only on July 19, fans can avail of this amazing birthday promo from Krispy Kreme. With every purchase of any dozen doughnuts, you’ll get another dozen of the regular glazed for only $1. Remember that this deal is only offered on July 19 so mark your calendar and beat the crowd.
“We’re continuing our birthday tradition of the $1 dozen deal, which is great. But this year for the first time we are filling an Original Glazed doughnut with birthday cake batter … and that’s even better,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release.
