The moon is one of the most magnetizing wonders in the universe. It illuminates our world at night, and it gives us those comforting waves we love to hear and surf on so much. As a child, you may have had this crazy thought that the moon was following you everywhere you went, like me. And now, an innovative company is giving us the chance to have it in our bedroom with their awesome levitating moon lamp! It levitates and rotates on its own, as though it were the one we see up in the sky at night.
Gahaya’s “LEVILUNA” is basically a miniaturized version of the moon. They were able to accurately replicate the celestial body through 3D printing. But the most amazing part of this lamp is the fact that they’ve managed to make it levitate by using magnets. It’s sure to add a wonderfully mystical feel to your space!
This levitating moon lamp is a must-have for Selenophiles
If you haven’t outgrown your fear of the dark or if you simply love everything related to space, this moon-inspired lamp is a definite must-have for your home. In fact, if you’ve got a curious young mind at home, this lamp will help excite and educate them more about outer space. The lamp’s levitating feature won’t be easily disrupted, unless you place a metal item near it. Moreover, you must also be careful and not let anyone slap or push the 3D printed moon, as it will throw the lamp off balance from its center point.
Gahaya offers three types of lamp. The standard 3D printed moon lamp that comes with a wooden stand, their levitating model and another lamp which offers 16 color choices for your moon lamp’s light.
The standard moon lamp comes in two sizes and two light colors
The levitating version is able to float thanks to magnets
There’s also a moon lamp that features 16 colors
Half the fun of this lamp happens during the set-up
“At first, it would be pretty difficult to mount the lamp onto the balance point. Keep calm, just treat it as a game. If you fail many times, take a break and watch our guiding video.”
After successfully mounting the moon on its wooden plate, it’ll revolve as though it were the real moon. Each 3D printed moon measures 7.1 inches, and levitates around 8 to 12mm above the plate. A single touch is all you need to light up this miniature moon. The levitating moon lamp is power efficient as well, since it uses a 1-watt LED light bulb. You can choose to have it in a warm or white colorway as well.
Whether you’re just looking for a cool night light or just really like nerdy stuff, we can all agree that the LEVILUNA is an awesome lamp. It’s selling fast, so you’d better hurry if you want your very own mini-moon floating in your home! Get yours today!
