When she was in sixth grade Skye Gould's mom, Stephanie Skylar, would write her inspiring little notes to accompany her packed lunch. Mom and daughter called the project 'Lunchbox Letters' and Skye meticulously kept all 100 plus notes neatly stored in a Sketchers shoebox. Now, 11 years later, Skye has self-published the letters in a collection called 'Advice From My Mom'. The handwritten notes contain advice on all sorts of subjects, from how to deal with teasing, to lifelong lessons such as the importance of exercise. Skye hopes the collection will inspire others to reflect on their own parental advice. Check out some of the cute notes and the useful advice!
