If we’re talking about the best Christmas movie of all time, the 1990 comedy film Home Alone is definitely the frontrunner. And Macaulay Culkin, the actor who played the quick-witted Kevin McCallister, knows that ‘90s kids haven’t gotten over the iconic movie even now. On his Twitter account, he teased everyone with a Home Alone reference post along with a Home Alone face mask. Apparently, his posts pulled some nostalgic strings from elder millennials. Furthermore, it kinda reminds us how ‘old’ we actually are.
In August last year, Culkin posted a photo of himself lazing on a couch while holding a plate of food and a laptop on his lap. With a bored look on his face, he hilariously captioned ‘This is what an updated Home Alone would actually look like.’ That would make sense, considering that the kid from the movie is now an adult. Seeing him doing what he did in the film seems a little bit awkward now. But that’s not the end of it. A year after, the 40-year-old actor shared another post revealing his age to make people his age ‘feel old’. And recently, Culkin shared a photo of himself wearing a face mask inspired by the festive movie.

Culkin Wearing A Home Alone Face Mask Featuring His Iconic ‘Face’
The nostalgia is really strong on his recent post because the face mask features the recognizable ‘scream’ face from the movie. With mouth wide open and his hands on his cheeks, Kevin’s surprised expression has been the emblem of the highly successful comedy film. Culkin, who was 10 years old when he played the role of Kevin, had sported the famous ‘face’ so many times in the movie. In fact, Kevin making the ‘face’ was also the main feature of the movie poster.

Well, thanks to Culkin, now I’m having the urge to rewatch the movie for the 315th time. Not to mention, we really need to get that face mask for ourselves to bring out the clever, naughty little Kevin in us.
