From every angle, it looks different, and the reflections are amazing. An eye catching new sculpture by artist Shirin Abedinirad is stopping people in their tracks in Sydney, Australia. The installation is meant to represent a Ziggurat, an age-old pyramidal structure and common form of temple erected back in 150BC in ancient Mesopotamia (an area that corresponds to modern day Iraq and Kuwait, as well as parts of Syria, Turkey and Iran). Abedinirad's mirrored Ziggurat is designed to act as a staircase seeking to connect nature with human beings, and is also meant to represent a union of ancient history crossed with today's world. Magical!
