Women who love cats are often deemed to be 'crazy cat ladies'. The image is of a disheveled, kooky, single female who can't attract any other company apart from her furry friends, with whom she is obsessed. Brianne Wills a photographer living in New York has challenged this image via her latest photo series, "Girls and Their Cats". The photographs, which feature women from all over New York with their beloved pets, aim to capture "the sweet bond that exists between women and their feline friends," says Wills, who adds, "Also I wanted to show that cat ladies are not crazy, but cute and stylish."
