Photographer Guinnevere Shuster has a history of helping dogs with her pictures. In fact, we've previously featured her photos of black dogs that have helped them get adopted into new homes. However, this time she has taken a different approach to help these dogs at the Humane Society of Utah who have previously not had much luck with potential adopters. Shuster has taken photobooth-style snaps that really capture these pups' personalities. Her work has already helped many of these dogs get homes and we hope that the rest aren't far behind. It's worth noting that a high percentage of dogs in these photos, and in shelters in general, are pit bull types, who are often overlooked due to unfair and false breed stereotypes. So, if you want to offer a forever home to a shelter dog, consider bringing a sweet and loving pittie into your life.

What a bunch of cuties! How could anyone have abandoned these dogs? If you think you could offer a great home to one of these pups, or one like them, contact the Humane Society of Utah, or your own local animal shelter.
