It’s not hard to see why Labradors and Golden Retrievers reign supreme as the most beloved dog breeds in the world. These golden haired dogs are basically treasures, because they’re just too precious for this world. Their friendly nature makes them fabulous family pets, and their intelligence makes them highly capable companions. But more than that, we can’t help but adore them because even when they become adults, their childlike goofiness never fades away.
The people of Newfoundland were the first to breed these dogs. In fact, these dogs earned their name as Retrievers because they helped fetch the catch and nets of fishermen and hunters. Today, they’ve also taken less-strenuous responsibilities like being guide-dogs and comfort animals for people with disabilities and disorders. In addition to these qualities, their mastery of the puppy dog eyes has made it impossible to resist them. And we here at Awesome Inventions can’t get enough of these wonderful dogs, so we rounded up 20 of the most adorable Retriever moments from all over the internet!
