If you use Pinterest, you’ll know that there are plenty of pins showing crafts and other projects that should be possible for even us average Joes to pull off. The problem is, they might look simple, and even seem simple to experienced crafters, but when someone with little or no experience tries them, it rarely goes according to plan. Thanks to Whisper, we have a number of confessions from folks who tried to tackle one of these projects and weren’t exactly successful. So, let’s take a look at stories from these twelve people as they tell all about how their Pinterest projects failed.
Nobody likes a substandard cookie.
That moment when you realize you’ve wasted $50 worth of cosmetics on a failed project.
And you’ve ruined all your jewelry….
It’s all fun and games until somebody slips in the shower and sustains a serious head injury.
If something seems too good to be true, it probably is…
A double-whammy of badness.
When you try to make snacks and end up setting your kitchen alight.
The realization that you’re way too lazy for craft projects.
When you end up doing way more harm than good.
You might be inspired by people’s perfect Pinterest lives, but it won’t always work out that way for you.
We love chickpeas, we love chocolate… but don’t go putting them together and calling them cookie dough.
The same goes here… cauliflower is great, but it is not a satisfying substitute for a real pizza base.
