When you think of polar bears and their surrounds, one color comes to mind… white! We are so used to seeing polar bears in Artic or Antarctic environments, it's really strange and unique to see them frolicking about in fields of brightly colored flowers. Yet that's the amazing scene photographer Dennis Fast has captured below. These incredible shots were taken in Northern Canada's Hudson Bay, during the summer months, when the polar bears love to frolic in fields of fireweed. 'Most people are familiar with shots of polar bears in the ice and snow of Hudson Bay in Northern Canada and in other polar regions,' Fast told 'My Modern Met'. 'They are so ingrained in people's minds that you might think the North experiences only winter.' Fast loves the slow ambling gait of the polar bear, which moves as if it has not a care in the world. Take a look!
