Renaissance artists Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo and Donatello would never have imagined in their wildest dreams that one day a bunch of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' would be named after them. But if they had known, perhaps they would have found the below street mural, by Kiwi-born, New York artist Owen Dippie rather amusing. Dippie painted his massive rendering of the four artists, wearing the Ninja Turtles' masks, on a wall running alongside a railway track in Brooklyn. 'I am a child of popular culture and am inspired by my heroes' Owen says on his website. 'By involving them in my art, I pay my utmost respect to them in the best way I know how'. Take a look!
