Fact: Starbucks has been making the holiday season extra merry with their Peppermint Mocha for over 18 years now. So if you’re looking to switch things up a bit this season, why not have a Santa Claus Frappuccino made for you instead? This jolly sip is as festive as it can be and also has a flavor that St. Nick himself won’t be able to resist! The only catch? It’s not exactly part of Starbucks’ official holiday lineup.
‘Secret menu’ Frappuccinos aren’t exactly a secret at this point. In fact, you’ve probably sipped on an Oogie Boogie Frappuccino during the spooky season! These secret Starbucks sips have a special place in our thirsty hearts even if they sometimes cause a rather tongue twisting situation at the counter. But we’re pretty sure that off-menu requests are challenges Starbucks baristas are always willing to take on.

Make your seasonal sip menu extra merry with the Santa Claus Frappuccino
So, without further ado, here are the steps for the festive Frappuccino. Start by ordering a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. This will be your drink’s base. Have some strawberry puree put at the bottom of your cup then have another layer cut in the middle of the drink. Once this is done, have your drink topped with whipped cream and Christmas sprinkles – the red ones and the white, bead-like ones – and voilà, your Frappuccino is done!

It’s worth noting that the Frappuccino is actually an original recipe concocted by the owners of food blog Totally The Bomb. According to their post, the drink was inspired by their favorite movie The Santa Clause which stars Tim Allen. Several other secret menu enthusiasts have tried the blog’s jolly recipe and have attested that the sip does, in fact, taste very much like strawberry shortcake. This should be a welcome break from all that peppermint action this holiday season. So make sure to take a screenshot of the recipe before you head over to Starbucks!
