We think it would be fairly hard to find someone who hasn’t come across a bouquet of flowers. However, we’d be quite impressed to come across someone who’s seen a silverware bouquet before! Ann Carrington, who you may recognize as the lady who was commissioned to make the Royal Jubilee Banner for the Queen Of England back when it was her diamond jubilee, has an extraordinary talent for manipulating silverware. Her series, titled ‘Bouquets and Butterflies’, was displayed as a solo exhibition for 6 weeks at the Royal College of Art in London. Check out the awesome pieces below!

We are in awe of these wonderful pieces! You can only imagine the time and effort that has gone into each fantastic creation. We would love to have some of these bouquets on display in our homes, if only it were possible! There’s no denying that Ann has a brilliant talent. In 1988 she received The Herbert Read Award. Not long after in 1992 she also received the Commonwealth Fellowship for Sculpture. Keep up to date and check out Ann’s other awesome work by taking a visit to her website here.
