This beautiful and environmentally friendly bike path in Brabant carries echoes of Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night painting. It is perhaps no coincidence then that Daan Roosegaarde its Dutch born designer, has installed the path of LEDs and glowing pebbles in the county in which Van Gogh was born and raised.
Coming in at a kilometer in length, this glow in the dark path is arguably a modern Dutch masterpiece in itself that enables cyclists to stay on track no matter how dark and dreary it is. Is this the future of night time cycling? We certainly think so!
