Built in 1792, St. Nicholas Church is located in a sleepy village in Northumberland, UK. Complete with a traditional tower, and even its own graveyard, it looks like any other quaint old church from the outside. However, it has a secret that you'd never guess until you take a look inside. Check it out!
That's right, this is no longer a consecrated church, it's now somebody's home!
The church was abandoned and in disrepair when the new owners purchased it, but they loved restoring it, keeping many of the unique original features, such as the stained glass windows.
Despite being so large and open, the place has a lovely homely feel to it.
Still, features like beams and vaulted ceilings make it unlike almost any other home out there. This truly is a special place to live.
The French bathroom is split over three levels, and with the stained glass window… Wow!
This would be an absolutely incredible place to call your home. Although, having a graveyard in your garden could get a little creepy!
