As a little girl living in Germany, Susanna Bauer was taught how to crochet. These days she still uses her crocheting skills, but in a very unusual way. She decorates leaves and other delicate natural objects with gorgeous crochet detail! Ever since she first learned to crochet, Bauer has always been interested in making teeny tiny items rather than blankets and doilies. She pursued a career in model making for a while but left it behind to pursue something more connected with nature. Now living in Cornwall, England, an exhibition of her work was on display at the Lemon Street Gallery. Check out her work below!
